For years architectural education has concerned itself with three main objectives: analysis, production and review (criticism). The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna encourages students to produce design processes that attempt to invent models of new architectural ideas. Review ist both a synthesis and conclusion of many debates, which originally had a variety of forms (lectures, symposia, project…), bringing them together in book format. It is aimed at a public interested in architecture and itts transmission.

In 2007-2008 the Institute of Art and Architecture took upon itself to discuss, design and produce new ways of thinking this overused and by now common necessity: sustainability.
